Imagine this scene bursting upon you while driving along mountain roads. Oh what a joy, right? That joy was mine, while on the way to Jabal Shifa, Oman. ‘The lake’ is such a tame title, I know. But  I am rather hard up for something befitting for so much of beauty.

Common Rose

The common rose is a swallowtail butterfly belonging to the Pachliopta genus, the roses, or red-bodied swallowtails. It is a common butterfly which is extensively distributed across South and Southeast Asia.
