The first one is a look at the sea through the metal grid, clicked at Beruwala beach.
The second one is the grid of the door at a hotel in Nuwara Eliya through which can be seen a temple and the slopes with tea plants.
The ‘today’ in the title refers to a day about ten days back, a morning I spent walking on the beach at Beruwala, Sri Lanka all by myself, taking pictures to my heart’s content of the sea in it’s different moods, making footprints on the sand, enjoying the solitude of the morning hour immensely.

That’s literally what some of us did yesterday. We have walked this walk too many times, except that it looked much cleaner 33 years back. The pillars were free of remnants of paper stuck on them. I rather felt sad at the unkempt look of the premises of my college now. But the revisit itself was priceless. Clicked at the Kariavattom Department of Economics.
