Sahtadri Birdwing is a large and striking Swallowtail butterfly endemic to Peninsular India. With a wingspan of 140–190 mm, it is the LARGEST butterfly of India and it visited my backyard garden. Naturally, I am thrilled to bits. 😀
Pachliopta hector, the Crimson Rose, is a large swallowtail butterfly belonging to the genus Pachliopta of the red-bodied swallowtails.
Tagiades litigiosa, the Water Snow Flat, is a butterfly belonging to the family Hesperiidae which is found in India.
At least I think it is Amaryllis belladonna. If not, make me wiser to which one this is. Thanks in advance. By the way, I ‘stole’ this from my neighbor’s garden, with my camera lens of course 😀
