and lies, heads held high
crossed the threshold
to rule as rightful heirs…

The lake

Imagine this scene bursting upon you while driving along mountain roads. Oh what a joy, right? That joy was mine, while on the way to Jabal Shifa, Oman. ‘The lake’ is such a tame title, I know. But I am rather hard up for something befitting for so much of beauty.
